Limiting the number of tickets you can purchase

The venue or event organizer usually sets a per-customer ticket limit. The reason for this varies from event to event, but it's typically enforced for highly anticipated events where the event organizer wants to be sure they reach as many potential fans as possible and there is a set number of tickets available.
